Grand River is in an area of Fort Bend County that extends to the northwest from Pecan Grove more or less along FM 359 to FM 1093 (the extension of the Westpark Tollway). This area has many subdivisions with mostly one to three acre tracts. The communities range in age from the 1970's to new. There is no need to drive into Houston to play golf.  There are public and private golf courses.  There are old and new golf courses.  See a description of each below.
