Fieldstone is located in Fort Bend ISD. The elementary school is Oakland which is just across Parkway 99 in Waterside. Bowie Junior High School and Travis High schools are located nearby on Harlem Road. . Kids R Kids and Primrose School preschool and child care are also available. Two Wharton County Junior College campuses are located nearby in Richmond and Sugar Land and the University of Houston has a campus in nearby Telfair. A Wharton County Junior College trade school is located in Richmond. WCJC and the University of Houston have a joint campus closeby on west side of Sugar Land.

Pecan Grove Country Club is located close to Fieldstone in near by Pecan Grove Plantation. It features a 27 hole golf course. Many golf leagues, programs and golf events are available through Arnold Palmer Golf Management.
