Green Trails homes for sale  

Green Trails and Green Trails Estates (Map) is a large community that extends from I-10 to the south past Kingsland and along the east side of S. Fry Road and west of Barker Road.  Trendmaker developed the community from 1985 to 1997 although most homes were built in the 1990's. Values range from $212,000 to $390,000 with an average of $284,000 and 3098 sq.ft.
The community park landscape is beautiful, benefitting from more than 25 years of natural growth. The community has two recreational centers with tennis courts, playgrounds, splashpad and six large swimming pools. Trietsch Park is a six acre landscaped park with walking trails at Baker Road and Kingsland. Home owners association websites are Green Trails and Green Trails Estates. 

Windsor Park homes for sale

Windsor Park Estates and Windsor Park Lakes (map) homes range from $417,000 to 1.2 M and average about $665,000 and 4494 sq.ft. Homes were built over a long period of time from 1991 to 2010. Windsor Park is off of Baker road which connects to S. Fry Road and Kingsland.  Windsor Park has a manned gate. Most homes have a beautiful lake view and the community backs onto a greenbelt. George Bush Park  

To the east of most of these communities is George Bush Park. This huge park can be accessed by Westheimer Parkway and by foot at Highland Knolls. It is a part of Barker Resevoir which is a federally managed flood control reservoir and nature preserve. Most of the time the reservoir is dry and the park can be used. The balance of the reservoir is in trees and swamp about 1500 acres of which burned in the summer of 2011. The park features baseball and soccer fields, a dog park, an equestrian trail, a hike and bike trail, a nature trail, pond, a model airplane airport, a shooting range, picnic and barbecue area, children's playground. There are several golf courses within short driving distance of The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch is an 18 hole public golf course developed by Cinco Ranch and operated by Eagle Golf. Willow Fork Country Club as an 18 hole golf course and tennis facility developed by Kelliwood and is located at 21055 Westheimer Parkway.
