Katy Independent School District serves Firethorne with Wood Creek Elementary School and Wood Creek Junior High School which are located on WoodCreek Bend Lane off of Kingsland near the freeway in the WoodCreek Reserve community. (LCISD) provides Huggins elementary school located on Katy Fulshear Road in the northeast edge of Fulshear. Wertheimer sixth grade, Briscoe Junior High School, and Foster High School are located near the junction of FM 359 and FM 723.
