When you get to Parkway Lakes you are in the country--but not too far. There are continuous subdivisions along the south side of the Westpark Tollway until you reach Houston. Parkway Lakes is about 25 miles from downtown Houston, southeast of Katy and south of the Cinco Ranch area. Parkway Lakes started in 2004 and home prices range from $140,000 to $270,000 with an average of about $188,000 and 2851 sq.ft. Parkway Lakes has easy access to the Westpark Tollway at Peek Road and the Grand Parkway 99.
The Westpark Tollway goes to thefreeway 59 and Loop 610 in Houston. Parkway Lakes is also on the Grand Parkway 99 south of Katy and is only a short distance to I-10. Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (LCISD) schools serve Parkway Lakes. Hubenak Elementary School is located in nearby Bella Terra subdivision just across 99 . Wertheimer Middle School, Briscoe Junior High School and Foster High School are located at the intersection of FM 723 and FM 359.
There are several golf courses are within short driving distance of Parkway Lakes. The newest, Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club  is at Seven Meadows which is near the corner of the Westpark and 99.  Pecan Grove Country Club and golf course is located in Pecan Grove Plantation. It features a 27 hole golf course . Many golf leagues, programs and golf events are available.
