Cinco Ranch west of the Grand Parkway 99 covers about seven square miles. Earliest homes were built in 2001 and new homes are being built. Cinco has lots of amenities including two water parks with waterslides, splash pads, large pools and fountains. The Lake House sits on a lake off of Spring Green. It has a beautiful view, swimming pool, club house for 100 and outdoor fireplace. The beach club is a half acre, four-foot deep swimming lagoon with sand that is set on the shores of South Lake. The Bayou Nature Trail is 70 acres of preserved woodlands and wetlands. Cinco Ranch has of community pools and tennis courts.
Newland who developed Cinco Ranch developed an older area to the east of 99 of equal size and amenities. All of Cinco Ranch is in the academically highly rated Katy Independent School District and has two high schools with outstanding football programs. Cinco Ranch is on both sides of the Grand Parkway 99 which extends from I-10 to the Southwest freeway 59 and will go north to US 290 in the near future. Cinco Ranch has access to I-10 or the Katy Freeway and goes through downtown Houston. This section was recently widened to as much as 26 lanes (12 main lanes, 4 lanes of access roads, and 4-6 mid-freeway HOT/HOV lanes, not counting access road turning lanes).To the south Cinco Ranch joins FM 1093 to the west and to the east the Westpark Tollway that goes to US 59 and Loop 610 in Houston.

Public Schools
