Weston Lakes  is located a little over two miles west of Fulshear. It was started in the mid 80's with the first houses being built about 1987. Most houses have been built in the past 20 years and custom homes are still being built. Beautiful waterfront, golf course and wooded lots are still available. It is about 34 miles to downtown Houston on FM 1093 and the Westpark Tollway. Values of these custom homes have ranged from $170,000 to $1,450,000 with an average of $366,000 and 3522 sq.ft. Lots range in size from as low as 5700 for patio homes to 1.5 acres. Most lots are in the half acre range with few fences giving a very open feeling. This 1400 acre planned community has a 24-hour guarded gate, an 18 hole golf course, and several natural "oxbow" lakes. Weston Lakes incorporated as a city in 2009. Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (LCISD) serves Weston Lakes. Huggins Elementary School (Exemplary) is located in nearby Fulshear. Wertheimer Middle School (Exemplary), Briscoe Junior High School and Foster High School are located at the intersection of FM 723 and FM 359.  Westlake Preparatory Lutheran Academy is on Bellaire in Bella Terra (PreK through 7th grade).  Pope John XXIII Catholic High School is on the Grand Parkway 99 north in Katy. Faith West Academy may be found on Porter Rd. near Franz Rd. Simonton Christian Academy is located to the west of Fullbrook. Houston Community College is located on Kingsland Blvd. near Pin Oak Road and Katy Mills Mall in Katy. The University of Houston at Cinco Ranch is located at 4242 South Mason Road, Katy, Tx.
